I’ve commented before that so many boys who have built themselves great bodies, and clearly want us to appreciate them, post pictures where they look sour, dour, moody, sullen, look down as if to defy us not to look at their abs… even when posed for professional photographers. Does t=it make them feel tough? Do we regard them as more ‘tough’ because they don’t smile for us? I’m not sure. Here is a selection of rather sullen boys with great things to be proud of nonetheless.
