This unusual view of Austin doing his press-ups serves to remind us that press-ups, plus pull-ups and dips, are the three key exercises for developing the chest and upper back (and the arms to some extent). If you maintain a good straight line in the press-ups, then it is good for the lower back too. And don’t forget the effect on those shoulder muscles! Austin looks pretty sweaty, and has obviously been working hard. Indeed, raising a sweat in any form of training is a just reward – shows you’ve put in the effort and tha the cardio aspect is working for you too!
